- Go to the Artwork section
- Click Fonts
- Click Upload Font
- Add the font name
- Drag and drop or click Browse for files to upload your font
- .ttf or .otf font files only.
- The maximum file size is 5MB
- Click "Yes, the fonts I'm uploading are legally eligible for server-based rendering and printing" to confirm that you have the appropriate license for your fonts to be used to create your inserts
- Click Save font
Upload your artwork
- Click Upload new artwork
- Click the Artwork name field and give your artwork a name
- Click the Media size field and choose the size of your media (making sure this matches what’s stocked in your printers)
- Choose Personalised for the Campaign type
- Drag and drop a file into the window or click Browse for files to upload your PDF
- Click Save artwork
Personalise your artwork
- Back to the Artwork section, click Design against the artwork you'd like to personalise
- Use the icons on the left to add your personalised elements e.g. the 'T' for text
- Name the field on the right-hand sidebar e.g. “QR code” or “First name”. This field name will pull through to the campaign builder so make sure it’s relevant to the personalised data you're adding
Text variables
- Double-click the text box and add your variable using curly brackets e.g.
{name}
- Adding any relevant text to sit alongside the personalised field e.g. "Hello {name}"
- Drag the text box to where you'd like on the page or use the sidebar options e.g. Align, and X & Y coordinates. Drag ruler lines from the left and top bars to help
- Make sure the text box accounts for the average size of the text you expect.
- Use the Dynamic Font Size option to scale dynamic text to fit the space e.g. names as they get longer, set a suitable minimum and maximum font size that works with your artwork
- Use the Variables Sample Data section to test different examples of text that the variable would generate. When you deselect the text field this content will be shown.
- If the text is centre aligned, make sure the box width is set to the containing visual element (like matching a column of text) so that it can fill out wider with shorter or longer names.
QR codes
- Use the QR code icon on the left-hand side to add a QR code to your artwork
- Edit the colours of the bar and the background using the options on the sidebar
Preview your Artwork
When your artwork is ready, click the "Preview" button at the top of the page.
This creates a PDF preview of your campaign using the sample text you added.
Please note: The QR code uses a dummy URL for the preview - your URL is added once you create the campaign
Change your Artwork
