A guide on configuring the Epson Workforce Pro range of printers to support printing on custom paper and card sizes
This guide explains how to set up the Epson Workforce Pro range of printers to print on custom-sized media. A custom size is one not covered by the standard supported sizes by Penny Black and has width and height dimensions.
These custom sizes can be configured in the Penny Black applications and are sent to the printer in millimetres (although you can configure inches on the printer and it will work interchangeably).
Configuring the printer
The Workforce Pro range supports custom media via its rear/bypass tray, and must be loaded in portrait:
You must then enter your media size for this tray into the printer settings.
- Press the Paper Setting button and press the down arrow so that you are on B (for Bypass) and press OK
- Select Paper Size and press OK

Press the down arrow until you get to User-Defined and press OK

Enter the measurements with the width being the shorter side

You can switch between inches and mm by pressing the down arrow and OK on the big button at the bottom
