How to trigger prints when fulfilling in Brightpearl using our Chrome extension
Configuration
After installing the Chrome extension, pin it to your bookmarks bar then click the PB logo icon to load the options.
Choose Brightpearl as the Fulfilment System.
- You’ll be working in Live mode
- We will provide you with an API Key
- List any the Penny Black merchant IDs of any merchants you are fulfilling for here. The extension will only attempt to print for these merchants.
- We will agree with you the print location names. These will be different for each web browser running the extension on your different workbenches. This routes the prints for this bench to the correct printer.
Order identifiers
The Chrome extension works by ‘scraping’ the information about the orders from the page and sending them to Penny Black in a print API call.
For Brightpearl, these identifiers are available in the Goods Note tables in the Order column, in grey:
Usage
Access the Goods Out Notes pages from the menu:
In the table of orders that is displayed, select the orders you wish to print by ticking the tickbox for each row:
If the extension is activated correctly you will see a pink Print button appear to the right of the action buttons above the table.
